Thank you for your interest in our state approved Learn to Drive Program!

Our highest priority is improving the driving community by teaching our students the safest driving techniques. After completing the program, every student will receive certificates of completion for their training. The student may receive a discount on their insurance for completing the driver training course, which will more than pay for itself within two years!

Our program is 16-hours and consists of an 8 hour classroom, 8 hours of behind the wheel training, and up to two road tests.

As a driving school, our goal is for every student to achieve confidence, control, and be comfortable behind the wheel in any situation. With these building blocks, each driving student will have the foundation to continue a lifetime of safe driving!

Please feel free to contact us to schedule your driving course or with any questions.

The instructor will pick up and drop off the student anywhere within the Anchorage and Eagle River area. Our instruction vehicles are dual controlled 2020 Ford Escapes with All Wheel Drive, Anti-lock Braking Systems, Traction Control, and season appropriate tires.

Driving instruction is strictly one-on-one between the student and instructor and covers:

• Basic Driving Techniques
• Parallel and Parking Lot Parking

• Highway Driving and Proper Merging
• Correctly Assessing and Navigating Intersections
• Roundabouts
• Downtown and Heavy Traffic Areas
• Approximately 200 miles of driving

Road Testing

Per DMV regulation, professional instruction and the road test can be given on the same day. The student will be able to test, but we do encourage taking the test when the student feels ready to do so.

The test is given by walk-in only. Please see our road test section for more information about the driving test.
